I am a marriage and family therapist by trade, but my first ministry is being a wife and mother. As a result, I can relate to the unique experience of entering the role of motherhood and also merging the two hats of wife and mom. I combine my experience and professional skillset to work with women and couples to prepare for marriage along with supporting new mothers. I'm also the clinical director and continue to support a broad spectrum of clients.
I am an interactive, solution-focused therapist. My therapeutic approach is holistic, as I consider a person's physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. As a practicing Christian, I offer faith-based counseling to those who are interested. I provide encouragement and a practical approach to help my clients overcome personal life challenges. By combining various methodologies and techniques, I create a highly personalized approach tailored to each individual. With empathy and insight, I work with each client to build on their strengths and help them achieve their personal growth goals.
I am licensed in
Georgia and
South Dakota, and available to see clients residing in either state.
I believe true love exists, but I am a firm believer that it takes work and preparation. We often invest a lot of time and money into a wedding, but not nearly as much preparing for the actual marriage. With my training and passion for marriages, I utilize Prepare-Enrich to tackle many important topics such as finances, sex, parenting and family. It is never too early or late to prepare, I see couples at all stages. I work with couples by getting to the root of the differences or issues you have and increasing the emotional connection between the two of you. Love is an amazing thing, but like any relationship there can be hurdles. I want to help you build a relationship that thrives and soars far above those hurdles.
How many times have you asked, "When will I start feeling like my old self?". The 4th trimester is a unique time that is rarely spoken about. Postpartum Depression and Anxiety is a real thing, but unfortunately many mothers carry shame with the emotions attached to their new season. If you find yourself struggling with feelings of sadness, loss of motivation or questioning your motherly abilities- I want to help you. This season is a beautiful time in your family's life. But please don't ever forget that in order to be the best version of yourself, you must prioritize yourself. Your family will thank you for it.
